Cris Schneider – Contributing Prosecutorial Experience to Your Case
Lead Attorney Cris Schneider has been working in the field of criminal justice for a number of years. Before opening his own practice, he worked with a nationally recognized criminal attorney in Atlanta, GA for more than a decade. While there, he had the opportunity to represent numerous high profile and celebrity clients. Next, he went to work as the lead trial attorney for the District Attorney's Office in Bryan and McIntosh Counties. Although he gained a vast amount of valuable experience in this position, Mr. Schneider decided that his time would be better spent defending the criminally accused – rather than putting them away. For this reason, he subsequently moved into private practice.
Fortunately, Mr. Schneider's prosecutorial experience has proven to be invaluable. Not only was he a featured educator and speaker for prosecutors throughout Georgia, but he was also an esteemed faculty member in the Litigation for Prosecutors program. Throughout his service with the Atlantic Judicial Circuit District Attorney's Office, he even authored the study, "Looking Down from the Benches and Up from the Trenches"—which has since been presented to more than 700 prosecutors throughout the state. Apart from these prestigious qualifications, he is also an active member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
Representation for All Types of Misdemeanor & Felony Charges
At The Schneider Law Firm, our legal team is well-equipped to represent even the most contentious of criminal cases. From DUI to white collar crimes, there is nothing that our Savannah criminal defense attorneys cannot handle. We understand just how much our clients have to lose if they are convicted, so we devote an equal level of attention to every case that we take on. Despite how minor or serious a client's case may seem, we will work tirelessly to ensure that we are able to secure a favorable resolution. That being said, you can rest assured that you will receive nothing less than the zealous representation you deserve when you turn to us for help.
While we are able to assist with virtually any type of criminal charges, we encourage you to find out how we can defend you against some of the most common criminal offenses:
Accused of drunk driving? We will fight for you!
Known as the "DUI Daddy," Attorney Cris Schneider has devoted a significant portion of his practice to DUI defense. He understands that Georgia lawmakers are particularly harsh on those who have been accused of drinking and driving, so he works diligently to ensure that his clients receive a fair trial. This starts with investigating the circumstances of his client's arrest, reviewing all of the evidence that has been collected by law enforcement and developing a strong legal strategy. If a police officer has obtained evidence through an unlawful search, Mr. Schneider will have it thrown out. If blood-alcohol test results seem questionable or inaccurate, he will not hesitate to challenge their validity.
Similarly, he is well-equipped to represent his clients throughout every step of the DUI process. Apart from defending a client at trial, he is also available to fight for the reinstatement of their driver's license at an administrative license suspension (ALS) hearing—which is a civil proceeding that is separate from the criminal trial.
Regardless of how long it takes, Mr. Schneider will do whatever is necessary to secure a favorable outcome. Whether that means that he must take measures to negotiate a plea agreement with the prosecution or vigorously defend his client's reputation at trial, there is nothing that he won't do on behalf of those who have trusted in The Schneider Law Firm to represent their case.
